Memories
Conde, Tamara ; Schubert,, Theres (referee) ; Malý, Břetislav (advisor)
In this work I reflect on the obsessive compulsive tendency of materializing fleeting thoughts and moments. I use leaves and their placement and detachment from landscapes as a metaphor to memories, through an installation with video.

Měchura, Mojmír ; Cseres, Jozef (referee) ; Cenek, Filip (advisor)

Hospital

My Bachelor's thesis is called Hospital. It contains my memories, that I written down during my hospitalization, and then brought to life on the canvas. The main theme are the painful thoughts that ran thought my mind while I was in the hospital. My thesis presents a diary record, which serves as a main source of inspiration for my paintings, as well as a technical record. The main point of my thesis is the subsequent trauma - dealing with the scars, accepting yourself. From the beginning of my studies, I have been devoted to the motifs of architecture, clean and clear colors with fine lines and geometric shapes. My work was very precise and delicate. Now I present the theme of the hospital, connecting my interest in architecture with more personal themes. My stay in the hospital, trauma, and pain. Which reminds me of the book Umlčené tělo (Murphy 2001), which contains and incredible story about the author's life before and after his illness. This book has been a great inspiration to me.

In her bachelor's thesis, the author will focus on working with the photographs of her family archive, which she uses in her artistic practice. This archive depicts the author's past. In her work, the author will subjectively reflect on the possibilities of perceiving pictorial memories as two separate, ephemeral realities for which we cannot confirm or deny their reality. At the same time, she wants to avoid the possible patheticness that working with archives tends to lead to, which is why she will use more media than just a single photograph. The artistic space he will create should serve for subjective contemplation of the pictorial medium whose affinity between reality and a certain interiority denies the exclusivity of only one reality. It accentuates here a kind of leaving a trace whose stratification refers to the psychological development of the personality in its inherent features. The aim of the work will be a multimedia installation using not only the aesthetics of original cinema films. This opens up the possibility of working with the film material itself, as a carrier of visual information, as well as its digital copy. The subsequent combination of these media will bring the viewer closer to the intimate interior of the artist herself. The work will be realized in a gallery environment, but it can also be set in a less formal setting.

As part of my diploma thesis, I deal with the topic of memory and its "revival". I focus on memories related to specific places where I lived, that I visited and which left a strong impression on my mind. I try to reconstruct these places using modern 3D technologies and convert them into virtual reality so that they can be "visited" again. I have created a way to "materialize" important places for us in virtual reality, walk through them and thus experience the memory associated with such places once again. In addition, the memory is shared - even those who were not there will be able to see a specific place. I believe this approach brings a new way to preserve and share memories.
Radio portrait of an (un)ordinary person Marie Burešová
Kroa, Martina ; Gulda, Jana (advisor) ; Němcová Tejkalová, Alice (referee)
The main part of this practical bachelor thesis is a radio portrait. In the practical part, I portray the life of an (un)ordinary person, Marie Burešová, into a radio documentary lasting 45 minutes. The eighty-year-old contemporary witness born to a Czech-German family was fundamentally influenced by the collectivization of agriculture in the 1950s, and her life was determined by her decision to take over the family farm, which she made at the age of eighteen. The document alternates the statements of the respondent with the inputs of the author or questions and remarks made during the recording. The process of collecting not only the audio material could be compared to recording the life of a contemporary witness. The author recorded their conversations, her memories and opinions, in the village of Buková in Western Bohemia, where Marie Burešová spent her whole life. In the theoretical part the author defines individual journalistic and documentary and specifically radio genres, but also methods. Compares the portrait and medallion and also brings different approaches of various journalists to the genre interview as not only the basic method of journalistic work. Above all, she focuses on the portrait interview due to the nature of the practical part but also talks about programs and projects that...
